With the continuous deepening of education opening up to the outside world, the international influence of Guangzhou Huashang College continues to expand. On the occasion of the 139th Canton Fair, on April 20, 2026, a delegation of 16 people from Gokhair Travel Innovations and Aimer Business School from India visited our school. The delegation is led by Mr. PANGAT KUNDIL BASHEER, Chairman of the company, Mr. MOOSA SHIFA, Director of Public Relations, and Professor ANITHA from Emerson Business School. Wang Wenzhong, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department of Guangzhou Huashang College, Hui Yanyan, Dean of the International College, Yu Bei, Vice Dean, and all staff of the Office of International Student Management in China warmly received the visiting guests and accompanied them to visit the campus. Both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on international education cooperation and talent cultivation.
During the campus visit, the visiting delegation visited the gymnasium, fitness center, swimming pool, restaurant, commercial street, dormitories for international students studying in China, and the newly put into use International Convention and Exhibition Center. During the visit, the delegation highly praised our school's investment in education and campus environment, especially the achievements in the construction of new engineering and humanities experimental training bases. Through this on-site visit, the visiting delegation has gained a clear and profound understanding of the rapid development of higher education in China. Subsequently, the delegation went to the Taohua Island Industrial Training Base to observe practical teaching activities in areas such as e-commerce operation and game design, and experienced modern marketing models such as live streaming on site, further understanding our school's exploration and practice in the integration of industry and education.
After the campus visit, the two sides held an exchange and discussion meeting in Conference Room A02 on the fourth floor of the International Convention and Exhibition Center. Director Wang Wenzhong welcomed the visit of the Indian delegation in his speech and expressed the hope that they would gain a deeper understanding of the development opportunities in China and the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, jointly promote higher education cooperation between China and India, and contribute to the cultivation of innovative and culturally understanding composite talents for both sides. He also welcomes Indian friends to experience Chinese culture and the development of new productivity through various forms such as studying abroad, short-term training, corporate internships, winter and summer camps, and encourages more young students to become bridges and bonds of friendship between China and India.
Dean Hui Yanyan introduced the more than 20 year history of Guangzhou Huashang College and the characteristics of the International College, focusing on the training direction, characteristics, major settings, and prospects for further education and employment for international students studying in China. She hopes to further deepen the recognition of our university's international education philosophy and practice by the Indian visiting delegation through this visit, injecting new momentum into practical cooperation in talent cultivation, cultural exchange, scientific research and other fields in the future.
Mr. PANGAT KUNDIL BASHEER, the representative of the Indian side, expressed gratitude to the school for their thoughtful reception. He sincerely appreciates the high-quality learning resources and practical training opportunities provided by Guangzhou Huashang College for students, and hopes that more Indian students will come to China to study in the future, especially in the fields of computer science and artificial intelligence, to strengthen cooperation. Through this on-site visit and in-depth exchange, the Indian visiting delegation highly praised our school's educational conditions, professional offerings, and international atmosphere. This visit activity has enhanced mutual understanding between China and India in terms of educational concepts, educational conditions, and cooperation models, laying a solid foundation for substantive cooperation in areas such as joint training, short-term practical training, and teacher-student visits in the future.
