Members of the International College leadership team, faculty and staff, foreign teachers from 24 countries including the United States, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, international students in China, as well as over 90 teachers and students from the International College, School of Health Sciences, School of Teacher Education, and School of Creative and Design Studies attended the event.

This event combined cultural knowledge classes with games and tea parties. Students from the Youth Global Competence Association introduced in English the origin of Chang'e's flight to the moon, the custom of eating mooncakes, Mid-Autumn customs in Chinese families, as well as the founding ceremony of the People's Republic of China, the meaning of the five-starred red flag, and other contents. They also deepened everyone's understanding of relevant cultural knowledge points through on-site interactive Q&A. Especially for the more than 30 foreign freshmen who had just enrolled, this was the first festival they had welcomed after coming to China. They felt the charm of Chinese culture and the Mid-Autumn reunion customs in a joyful atmosphere.

To bridge the gap between Chinese and foreign students, games such as musical chairs, balloon stepping, and table tennis juggling were organized on site. These activities brought Chinese and foreign teachers and students together, creating a harmonious scene of multicultural integration and coexistence on the campus of Huashang University.

Finally, under the national flag in front of the Central Library, Chinese and foreign teachers and students held the national flag of the People's Republic of China and sang "Ode to the Motherland" together. The impassioned melody pushed the event to a climax.
This event fully demonstrates the effectiveness of the International College in leveraging the enthusiasm and initiative of youth associations. It also inspires young people to effectively tell China's stories and convey China's voice to foreigners. Furthermore, it serves as a concrete practice for students of the Youth Global Competence Association to enhance their international communication skills.
